The Author, eyes glued to the baleful radiations of his 17" CTX, seems preoccupied with man's implacable struggle with HTML 4.0 [Hmmm ... it must be the UV from your monitor making your shirt look whiter and brighter -- Ed.]

UPDATE - the CTX died - The Author now uses a 19" ViewSonic, and cautions you all that it's junk - the visible distortion is definitely a step backward in monitor development. And those ViewSonic ratbags will stiff you on any rebates, too.
